Fast-casual chain California Tortilla unveiled their 2012 Presidential Burrito Bowls this week, which will be available through Monday, Nov. 3. This is the fifth election cycle during which the chain has introduced special products designed with the candidates in mind. Both of the bowls this year come with a toothpick featuring the candidate’s face.
Obama’s Chicken Teriyaki Luau Bowl includes Mexican rice, grilled chicken, teriyaki sauce, stir-fried vegetables, grilled pineapple spears, and is garnished with chopped green onions.
Romney’s Mexican Mitt-Loaf Bowl includes grilled Mexican meatloaf, fresh mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, a sweet and savory sauce, corn, and salsa, garnished with chopped green onions.
